First Road Trip in 2019 : Malacca-Johore

Aku masih lagi dalam MC, still using my crutches to walk. But it won't stop me from travelling.

Abah picked us up at Malacca Central. Spent the whole morning in the bed. Tired.
.
After zuhr, Mama, Adik and I decided to take a short walk in the city.
.
For the first time, I took a strolled inside the Jonker Street. Before we always walked around the river.
.
That evening,Hisyam arrived from KUIS.
.
After Maghrib, we went out to have our dinner @Umbai Ikan Bakar. Enjoying the fresh seafood and view with my family. This time is my treat.

What I love about Malacca.
.
I always love coming to malacca and enjoy the vibrant city.
.
Such a nice place to have a short vacation. The food and the local attraction just perfect for me.
.
The state is so small, and it is very easy to commute.
.
Malacca-Johore.
Abah decided to avoid all the toll gate and went through the old road.
.
First we went to Muar @Muo.. to find the best mee bandung in town.
.
The google maps showed us the Tanjung Emas food court.
.
The highlight was not the food but the view. It was very beautiful and I know that I can spend the whole day there just to enjoy the view.

Then we stopped by @Gunung Ledang in Tangkak to visit the waterfall. It's part of my childhood memories. The place where we use to go every time we "balik kampung".
But for adik, this is her first time.

We stayed in Segamat for 2 nights before going back to Terengganu.

ROAD TRIP

Aku ni memang jenis yang enjoy long hours of driving. Road trip is my perfect getaway.
T o really enjoy your road trip I have a few tips that I did to make it even better.
1. Take the road less traveled.
Highway maybe fast, tapi kalau lalu jalan biasa and jalan kampung, you will see more and have the ability to stop by at the local attraction.
2. Find your roadtripper buddies.
To have the best road trip, tak boleh la nak jalan dengan orang yang dalam kepala dia nak sampai cepat je. Road trip ni tak boleh rush, sebab kau rasa nak berhenti, kau berhenti. Nak stay lama to take a stroll or photo. Just enjoy the moment kind of thing. Kalau spesis yang nak sampai cepat je tu, kau tinggal dia, suruh naik Kapal Terbang. 😎😎

Biasanya dalam perjalanan kau akan banyak bercerita, berkongsi dan buat sesi luahan perasaan. You will be able to get to know your buddies even better.
3. Set destinations, not expectations.
Go on a journey with open-mind. You will find some hardship along the way, but that will turn out to be your funnies story to re-tell. Enjoy je.
4. Sunset and Sunrise.
Search and ask the local where is the best place to enjoy the view. Wake up early and drive to the empty beach or hill and just enjoy the view.
5. Take a moment of reflection.
The best thing about road trip, you will be able to clear you mind.
Travel gives you a much-needed opportunity to really get back to who you are, what makes you tick, and potentially rediscover parts of yourself that have been lost in the hustle and bustle of everyday life back home. There’s nothing quite like a long drive on an open road to clear the mind.
You also able to feel a greater sense of gratitude. That you have another chance to enjoy the beauty of Allah creation and the remarkable values of being alive.
6. Enjoy the local food.

Try to eat something new and local, maybe you will discover your next favorite food.
Now, set your date and go for your road trip, just go and be free.
