Handle with Care....

(my novel cover is different but it is the same book)

salam.. i hope it not too late for me to wish you all a happy new year..

i just finish my first Jodi Picoult novel. because before this I prefer to read Cecelia Ahern..

in her novel i get a different feeling of satisfaction. the other thing i like about this book, she bring the technique of cooking into some action of life.. charlotte recipe in every beginning of every chapter..(n_n)

Things break all the time. Glass, dishes and fingernails. Cars and contracts and potato chips. You can break a record, a horse, a dollar. You can break the ice. There are coffee breaks and lunch breaks and prison breaks. Day breaks, waves break, voices break. Chains can be broken. So can silence and fever.
Promises break.
Heart break.

Everything break, something just hurt more than others.

Story about one little girl who born different from others. She born with osteogenesis imperfecta. She need to be handle with extra care or else she will break. Her mum is offered a lifeline. She can file a ‘wrongful birth’ suit against her obstetrician, in the hope of receiving a monetary which would secure her little girl future. But the doctor she would suing is her own best friend.

This story mixing a lot emotion from each character which affects the reader. It plays with your tear, every single line from the story give a different touch to your heart. The best thing I like about this book which we can understand each character point of views.

If the story really happens to us, what would we do? Who can decide whether the baby worth to be alive or not? Is it abortion really an option to the mother? Nobody ever has born perfect but everybody born special. Everyone is special in their own way. All you need to do is appreciate it.

“wahai manusia!

Who are we to judge whether a life deserve to live or not?
Did Charlotte do there right thing when she file the ‘wrongful birth’?
Did Charlotte really want Willow as her daughter?
What is the right thing that Sean needs to do as a father and a husband?
Did anyone really pay attention to Amelia?
How Piper feels after she had been sued by her best friend?
Everyone can see how bad Willow break her bones but does anyone ever realize how bad her heart been broken?

What if we break someone heart without notice it? Or we did it with purpose? People can make a thousand reasons, but there is no good reason we can use to break people heart especially the one who is close to us. We afraid someone will break us, so that we must try not to break other.

p/s: kak seha i just can't live without book.. trying hard but fail...p/s: i'm on da way of considering the idea of renting my books..
